Electronic Ticketing

Make your travel experience simpler and easier!

With electronic ticketing, traveling with Air Mauritius is now simpler, faster, and easier:
  • No risk of losing or forgetting your ticket, and no need to replace it.
  • No need to collect your prepaid ticket, or to wait for its delivery by post.
  • Change your ticket over the phone.
How
  • Buy your ticket at your travel agency, or at Air Mauritius, through our agencies, or call center or our Web site. We recommend that you provide a form of identification, such as your passport or national identity card number, in order to facilitate your check-in at the airport.
  • You will then receive an itinerary receipt of your trip which may also be delivered to you by e-mail, fax, or post. You will no longer receive a paper ticket, as it is now in electronic form and securely stored in our reservation system. You may thereafter modify your ticket through a phone call, subject to the fare rules.
  • At the airport, you then hand over your itinerary receipt and form of identification to the check-in agent, and receive your boarding card.

Air Mauritius has achieved 100% e-ticketing across its online network one month before the IATA deadline of 31st May 2008.



Notes
  • The e-ticket is not yet available in some cases, such as fully open tickets, medical cases requiring a stretcher or special assistance, and excess baggage tickets. You will continue to receive a paper ticket in such cases.
