Beach beats: Music in Mauritius

Mauritius has a rich history of music on the island including its traditional sega music and dancing which is mesmerising to watch, but you’ll also find a variety of other tunes to help you relax and enjoy your holiday.

Below we’ve rounded up some highlights from a few Mauritius hotels.

Four Seasons

Music at Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita is very venue-specific, so in O Bar the music has a contemporary, upbeat feel, whereas in Acquapazza, softer Italian music sets the scene for a dinner on the edge the lagoon, and in beachfront restaurant Bambou there is the chance to hear local Sega music during the day.
