What makes a drink by the ocean so utterly appealing? There are now so many versions of the classic beach bar, it’s hard to claim any factor as more important than another. Some play up their cutting edge design and cocktail menus, others revel in their shack-like simplicity and sunsets.

But we say it’s all about the vibe. Let’s just call it that certain elusive quality that’s quintessentially Mauritian – and the reason why our beach bars are considered to be among the best in the world.
