Taking your time to saunter around the market, museums and restaurants by the harbor. Let’s you get under the skin of Mauritius; it’s sounds, sites, traditions and contemporary experiences all mixing together to show a capital undergoing evolution.

In a post on its blog, hotel chain Radisson Blu emphasises the attraction of the city looking at some of the key experiences for travellers. It also recommends a trip to the Blue Penny Museum for an interesting introduction into Mauritian history. Make time for a flutter at the Champs de Mars Racecourse, the oldest horse racing club in the Southern Hemisphere.
