Air Mauritius has gained more recognition for its products and services at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards.

Skytrax ranked Air Mauritius as the number 3 airline in Africa at the World Airline Awards in June. The national airline of Mauritius was also ranked among the 10 most improved airlines in the world and progressed from the 69th to the 61st position in world airline rankings.

Before being delivered to Air Mauritius on Friday 21 June, the Airbus A330neo, Chagos Archipelago, was exhibited at Le Bourget which is one of the most prestigious aeronautical fairs in the world. It is the first time that Air Mauritius was present at the fair. Hundreds of people visited the aircraft including journalists and specialist aviation bloggers.

It was a valuable opportunity to showcase the improved Air Mauritius cabin product. With the four new aircraft (2 A350-900& 2 A330neo), the two retrofitted A330-200 and the two A340-300C to be retrofitted this year, Air Mauritius now offers best in-class aircraft cabins equipped with full-flat business class seats, economy class seats with improved leg rooms, state of the art entertainment system and WIFI connectivity in all classes.
