A weekend in Paris: The best things to do
Stylist has produced a weekend guide to Paris with tips on the best places to stay, for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner and bars. Our favourite though is the things to do section, which helps travellers experience the city of lights like a local.
La Promenade Plantée is described as a disused railway line, three-storeys high, which “looks across to some of the city’s most archetypal architecture, putting you at perfect peering height next to grand balconies and rooftop terraces”.
Canal Saint-Martin is also a top pick, which runs through the east side of Paris, in the 10th arrondissement, and is “a known hipster hang-out, positively surrounded by quaint coffee shops and cool concept stores”.
