AfrAsia 2016 golf tournament tees off in Style


We’re delighted to announce that the Air Mauritius-sponsored AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open (ABMO) 2016 kicked off in style today with top tournament players from around the world converging on Mauritius for this special event.

The ABMO is the only event tri-sanctioned by The European Tour, Asian Tour and Sunshine Tour and is played out from 12-15 May on one of the most beautiful golf destinations in the world, the Ernie Els-designed course at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita. There is an enticing prize fund of 1 million Euros to win that will be decided from a very talented field of more than 40 professionals from each of the participating Tours, plus local invitees and qualifiers.

The tournament will be a 72-hole (4 day) stroke play Championship with 18 holes played each day. The field will comprise 132 professionals. Play will be in three-balls on the first two days, and in two-balls on the last two days after the cut.
