Air Mauritius’s own Islander Magazine recently shared the inspiring story of Mauritian-born fashion designer, Perry Ah Why.

Perry grew up in Pointe aux Sables in the north-west of Mauritius, near Port Louis, and is now one of the most sought after wedding dress designers in Paris with clients from the US, Brazil, London, Canada and Israel to Australia, China, Thailand and, of course, Mauritius.

Paris is now Perry’s home and he produces two collections per year with his designs regularly appearing in magazines such as Marie Claire.

Perry talks of a “story” or “dream” when he speaks of his own creativity and his journey to the top is an inspirational tale for everyone.
