The very first photo in Cosmopolitan’s new Mauritius feature is enough to make you pack your bags and race towards the nearest airport.

In a feature in the March edition, journalist Sally Dixon gives her take on two of beautiful hotels on the island, Shandrani and Dinarobin.

Located on opposite corners of the island’s southern coast, the hotels are well-placed for a multi-centre holiday, with Dinarobin giving you access to stunning Le Morne peninsula in the south west and Shandrani lying next to Blue Bay Marine Park and Ile aux Aigrettes nature reserve in the south east.

Though, as Dixon discovered for herself, both properties offer more than enough in the way of restaurants, spa treatments and golf courses to keep you fully occupied for a week or more.
