Hong Kong Airlines enters into codeshare with Air Mauritius
Hong Kong Airlines and Air Mauritius – both internationally acclaimed Skytrax 4-star airlines – have entered into a codeshare agreement which provides customers with enhanced connections to Mauritius.
The two carriers have signed a deal allowing Hong Kong Airlines to sell our twice-weekly direct flights between Hong Kong and Mauritius, enabling us to maximise the travel opportunities for passengers across the Indian Ocean.
Flights leave Hong Kong International airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays, returning from Mauritius on Thursdays and Sundays.
“The development of Asian routes is key to our network strategy,” said Air Mauritius Chairman, Dr Arjoon Suddhoo. “Destinations like Hong Kong have grown to become important for our network as it gives access to China and other East Asian destinations. We trust that both airlines will fully benefit from the new prospects offered by this collaboration. We will continue to work together and explore other avenues for strengthening this cooperation.”
Tickets under the new codeshare agreement are now on sale, and can be purchased via travel agents or through the airlines’ sales offices and call centres.
