Mauritius more affordable than ever
We loved a recent piece in The Sunday Herald, which pointed out just how great value for money a trip to Mauritius can be.
The piece says: “If you know where to look, prices in four-star hotels can be downright reasonable and in keeping with the best deals in the Caribbean.” The Herald also compliments Air Mauritius saying “their service and executive lounges make all the difference” and that “from late 2017 Air Mauritius will have new planes”.
The Sunday Herald went on to say: “What excites me most about Mauritius, apart from its beaches, is its cultural diversity, and this manifests in great street food.”
Part of this Mauritius trip included a walking tour with mymorris, a local team that has partnered with a Belgian anthropologist to offer a richer experience of the island. The Herald was clearly impressed. It said: “We ate street food in a local market, explored fascinating neighbourhoods not on any tourist circuit and went to a Buddhist temple hidden on the roof of a multi-story with absolutely no signage.”
