Air Mauritius is sponsoring Porlwi by Light in December – an exciting event taking place on 2-4^th December in Port Louis that was an incredible success last year.

Organised by Astrid Dalais and Guillaume Jauffret, Porlwi by Light is a contemporary cultural extravaganza that brings light, sound and celebration to the capital.

The festival showcases the country’s innovative and creative talent through shows, installations, projections, frescoes, concerts, exhibitions and performances in front of a crowd that numbers around a third of the Mauritian population in the streets of Port Louis.

This is a gathering of diverse talent who all share a passion for culture and Mauritian tradition, which helps to foster a dynamic dialogue between different artists, cultural players and the public.

‘Porlwi to the People’ is this year’s theme and the festival’s aim is to imagine the future of the capital together and build a real sense of energy and urgency around it; to create and contemplate this shared vision and engage everyone in it.

Air Mauritius will be providing tickets for some people from the organizing team to travel, carrying equipment for the festival in our Cargo and providing an Air Mauritius rooftop for cocktails at the official launch ceremony.
