Shelina Permalloo on Mauritius’s top restaurants
Since winning Masterchef UK in 2012, London-based Shelina Permalloo’s life has changed beyond recognition – she’s an in-demand guest on tv food shows, has launched a cookery school at Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa, and published her own cookbook, ‘Sunshine on a Plate’, which showcases the flavours of Mauritius in over 100 recipes.
Not content with all that, she recently took the time to share her favourite Mauritian restaurant experiences in one of the UK’s national newspapers, including red snapper curry with coconut milk at Le Fangourin in Port Louis, and mustard and pan-seared scallops at Le Touessrok’s Safran.
Head over to the Daily Telegraph to check out the rest of Shelina’s mouthwatering recommendations.
