Air Mauritius recently had the pleasure of co-sponsoring a workshop for over 50 Italian travel and food bloggers in Milan, in conjunction with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA).

The blogger event took place on 28 June, with morning round-table presentations based around the topics of wellbeing, romance, gourmet, nature and culture, with the latter being chaired by Air Mauritius. During the session, we explained how our culture is reflected in our product, inflight service, aircraft decoration and amenities kits and so on, with subsequent discussions aimed at creating innovative ideas for the future.

The day continued with an exceptional Mauritian lunch created by Milan-based Mauritian chef Vima Narrainen, herself a blogger at Vima’s Food. Along with her team, she created a finger food lunch of typical Mauritian cuisine, featuring 15 dishes ranging from savoury and salty to sweet, all of which showed off her prowess and passion in the kitchen.
