The Telegraph's Guide to Mauritius
We know our friends at The Telegraph are big Mauritius fans, so it’s worth stopping by to check out their latest guide to the island which includes top tips on why, when and where to go.
For those looking for luxury at a price that won’t break the back, The Telegraph advises that ‘Luxury here is surprisingly affordable - Mauritius has some of the best value deals in the region.’
The guide also highlights why the diversity of the island has such appeal ‘…Plentiful watersports, world class spas, top-flight golf courses and gourmet cuisine make it hard to leave the hotel, but Mauritius has plenty to see and do - from French colonial houses and imaginative animal parks to nature walks, quad biking, zip-lining and horse riding.’
The Telegraph says it’s no surprise more than 100,000 British visitors go each year and finishes by quoting Mark Twain: “You gather the idea that Mauritius was made first and then heaven was copied after Mauritius.”
