Where to go WHEN...

We may all have a list of places to visit, but how to know when is the best time to choose? Or indeed, where to go when, as this useful guide on Condé Nast Traveller puts it, ‘the world and his wife are on holiday’?

Here we pick out a few destinations for each month. Check out the Condé Nast Traveller piece for more… and remember Air Mauritius flies direct to many destinations here direct such as Cape Town, Hong Kong and Nairobi. Which destinations to go to, when

If you’re planning a visit to Mauritius then at any time of the year you’ll find a little something that you love.

January is an excellent month for trips to Burma, South Africa, the Gold Coast of Australia or to avoid the crowds in Rajasthan.

In February, visit Sri Lanka’s south coast, or Senegal, Kerala or Malaysia.

Vietnam is Condé Nast Traveller’s top spot in March. Or try the Maldives, or a South African safari, or the Philippines…

Namibia is one of their top April destinations or, at a wild stretch, Tokyo!

Cape Verde is one top tip for May: ‘Africa's answer to the Galápagos Islands’... Which destinations to go to, when

June suggestions hover round Europe: such as, the South of France and the Amalfi Coast…

But July suggests the Seychelles, Kenya or Mozambique.

August is great for Tanzania or Bali, according to the calendar.

Or September has to be Zimbabwe for the ultimate safari.

October is the best moment in the year to visit Mauritius, says Condé Nast Traveller.

And November is when they recommend Hong Kong.

Or why not end the year in Goa, or Cambodia for your December dream trip?

There’s plenty more – all over the globe. Check out Condé Nast Traveller’s full holiday calendar here.
