Connect and Protect focuses on the Trochetia boutoniana, an endemic plant to Mauritius.

Trochetia boutoniana, the National Flower of Mauritius since 1992, stems from a rare endemic plant with bell-shaped carmine-red flowers with white centre. Found in the wild near Le Morne Brabant mountain, it has been successfully propagated by the National Parks and Conservations Service for reintroduction into its natural habitat. One of our Airbus A350-900 aircraft proudly bears its name.
