Discover the various accolades and awards received by our airline over its rich history spanning over 50 years since 1967. 

2022

Air Mauritius won three accolades at the 2022 edition of The World Luxury Travel Awards, at a gala ceremony held on Saturday 22 October at Swandor Topkapi Palace, Antalya, Turkey, namely: 

  • Global winner for Leading Airline
  • Global winner for Cabin Crew
  • Global winner for In-flight Service

Additionally, a special award namely ‘the Chairman’s Choice Award’ was presented to Air Mauritius by the Chairman of World Luxury Travel Awards.

The World Luxury Travel Awards is a recognized global organization which aims to highlight, reward and promote the best in the luxury travel and tourism industry, providing travel establishments with the recognition they deserve.


2021
  • Air Mauritius won two accolades at the 2021 edition of the World Travel Awards, UK, namely:
    • Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline Economy Class 2021
    • Indian Ocean's Leading Airline Brand 2021

2019 
  • Air Mauritius is certified as a 4-Star Airline by rating agency Skytrax for the quality of our onboard product and service across both aircraft and cabin service operations as well as its airport service standards. The 4-Star status places Air Mauritius in the league consisting of not more than 40 Best Airlines in the world.
  • Skytrax has ranked Air Mauritius as the number 3 airline in Africa at the World Airline Awards at Le Bourget on 20 June 2019.
  • The national airline of Mauritius was also ranked among the 10 most improved airlines in the world by Skytrax at the same event. 
  • At the World Travel Awards held in Mauritius on 1 June 2019, Air Mauritius won Awards in the following categories:
    • Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline 2019* 
    • Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline – Business Class 2019 
    • Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline Brand 2019 
    • Indian Ocean’s Leading Cabin Crew 2019
