This year’s Kiteival Mauritius takes place from 26 July – 2 August - a unique and inclusive kite surfing event held in different ‘downwinders’ around the island. Kiteival is open to anyone of average ability and upwards, so you certainly don’t need to have champion-level skill to participate. And you’ll get to discover the most beautiful kite surfing lagoons in Mauritius – which are among the best in the world – with a team of local riders who’ll guide the entire ‘train’ of kiters to the best locations.

Love to watch kite surfing but not a boarder yourself? Not a problem – a handful of selected professionals will also be taking part in the event, showing off their acrobatic skills and strength to the festival’s many spectators in a number of awesome demo sessions.

The festival also hosts freestyle, racing and wave competitions with some cool prizes up for grabs, and you’re guaranteed a party atmosphere – plus a few actual parties – during the 8 day duration of the event.
