General Information
1. We recommend that you are acquainted with all visa and health requirements issued by the health authorities applicable to your destination. You may obtain more information from the respective embassies and consulates. It is your responsibility to obtain all required travel documents including passports, health certificate, entry requirements and visas and we shall not be liable if you are denied entry in any country as a result of your failure to hold the required travel documents. Additional documents may be required for some destinations, please consult requirements by destination in the sections below.
2. You will be required to arrive at the SSR International airport at least three hours prior to departure.
3. Live animals will NOT be accepted as checked luggage for travel into Mauritius. All live animals for travel into Mauritius must be shipped as CARGO, and you must hold an appropriate import permit from the local authorities. Live animals will not be accepted without prior reservation and the appropriate documentation. For more information, please check our Travelling with Pets page.

Travel Requirements
Passengers travelling to Mauritius will have to fulfil all travel exigencies before their flight.
All passengers travelling to Mauritius must possess the following documents:
- A valid air ticket to Mauritius. It is important that you provide your email address and mobile number for us to communicate with you.
- Prior to travel, it is strongly recommended for all travellers to fill out the digital ALL IN ONE FORM. It will generate a PDF document with a QR Code, which must be presented to Health Officials on arrival at Mauritius Airport.
Any passenger known to be Covid-19 positive within 7 days of departure shall not be allowed to board the flight.

Note: For passengers travelling from Reunion: Due to recent outbreak of Avian Influenza in Reunion Island, no live animals and products of animal origin including poultry products whether cooked or raw should be introduced into Mauritius. In case these products have been inadvertently brought during their travel, passengers should immediately report same to the custom on arrival.
Please check whether you are required to meet other requirements as imposed by your country of departure for travelling to Mauritius.
- All passengers arriving from France must meet the travel requirements that may be imposed by the French Government listed on the French Ministry of Interior website: https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/covid-19-international-travel#from4a. A check of the supporting documents, if required, will be made in France before departure. Please note that this does not apply to passengers in transit at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Transit through Mauritius
All passengers should comply with all travel requirements as imposed by the authorities of their final destination.
At the airport of departure
- Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to their scheduled flight departure time.
- It is recommended for passengers to wear surgical or N95/FFP2 masks.
- Passengers will also be subject to temperature checks at the airport.

Passengers must present their Air Mauritius ticket (starting with “239”) at any of the Covid-19 collection centres.

If you are in transit and travelling onward, please ensure that your luggage is checked-in to your final destination as you will not be able to exit the transit area.

Travel Exigencies
Starting from 30 August 2023, China-bound travelers are no longer required to take COVID-19 PCR test or Rapid Antigen Test before boarding. No relevant information are required to be declared when filling the Health Declaration Form.
