Welcome to the Amédée Maingard Lounge! Our luxury lounge at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the departure halls.

Situated in a coveted location at the new airport terminal, the Amédée Maingard Lounge extends over a sprawling space of 1860 square metres, offering luxurious and comfortable seating for up to 400 guests. 

This inviting and restful environment features two levels, with the Tamarin Lounge on Level 1 and the Chamarel Lounge on Level 2.

Relax in this expansive and comfortable enclave while you enjoy our premium services and our warm Mauritian hospitality before you board your flight. This restful and quiet space shall refresh travel-weary souls and recharge your spirit for the next leg of your journey.

The Chamarel Lounge on Level 2 offers breath-taking aerial views of the runway. The striking design and modern furnishings exude elegance and luxury, echoing the essence of the diverse identity of the people of Mauritius – much as the seven-coloured earth in the region of Chamarel showcases the volcanic origins of the island and the peaceful coexistence of multiple races in the beautiful nation since.

The Tamarin Lounge on the ground floor offers a quiet relaxation area where you can retire for a luxurious escape from all possible noise and distraction, or to sleep off your travels in comfort. Across both floors, guests can also benefit from an uninterrupted WiFi facility and enjoy an extensive selection of international magazines and newspapers  downloadable over our eReader to refresh their minds. Finally, shower facilities are available for those who wish to fully freshen up for the next leg of their journey.

The Amédée Maingard Lounge is designed to meet the expectations and serve the needs of a wide range of travellers. Be it holiday-makers or business people alike, our state-of-the-art amenities and entertainment facilities have been conceptualised with all categories of customers in mind. Special amenities for guests with infants and children are available, such as baby changing facilities and a spacious, safe kids' play area. Further, the comfort and convenience of passengers with reduced mobility and special needs are also well-catered for both in terms of infrastructure and services, with our lounge equipped with a spacious lift. 

Meals at the Amédée Maingard Lounge are prepared with a view to entice your taste buds and to serve up a smorgasbord for your senses. Menus on offer are tailored to reflect the tastes and preferences of our most discerning passengers, together with a local selection that allows passengers to explore the unique island cuisine in all its intricacies. The experience is suitably complemented with an extensive bar choice, including a wide selection of wines and champagne. With both cold and hot options on the menu, we invite our guests to enjoy a hearty meal or a snack, as they sip on the beverage of their choice.

How to enjoy the facilities

Access to our private lounge is available to both Business Class passengers and Kestrelflyer Gold members. Passengers travelling with partner airlines and those who are members of partner airport lounge access programmes are also invited to partake of our lounge facilities.

The Amédée Maingard Lounge is located opposite Gate 28 in the Departure area. After Immigrations and security check turn on the right and follow the signs for Gate 28.

Finally, the Amédée Maingard Lounge is also accessible to passengers in economy class, on request and subject to availability, for a fee (for a maximum of 4 hours):

• Adult: EUR 50 per adult for a maximum of four hours
• Child : EUR 25 for children up to twelve years
• Infant (under 2 years old): Free
