Air Mauritius Long Haul Product A340-300E

Air Mauritius announces a new era for its long-haul passengers: a cabin layout that take comfort to new heights amidst a brand new cabin décor.  The first flight landed at SSR International Airport on Friday morning of 01 Dec 2006 and the second aircraft on Friday 15th December 2006.



The A340-300E aircraft is equipped with lie-flat business class cocoon seats and a greatly enhanced Economy class cabin.

Passengers in both classes have at their disposal a truly huge AVOD - Audio & Video On Demand - menu offering of 31 digital-quality, multi-language video options together with a library of more than 60 CDs with play-list functionality.





Up front, the business class is fitted with the new generation lie-flat seats. Laid out in a 60-inch pitch, the airline's choice of cocoon seats features state-of-the-art technology and individual comfort with fingertip control. This new Air Mauritius business class will be the airline's premium cabin, enhanced by the same exquisite attention to detail and service excellence that the airline is known for.



Already recognized within the travel industry as one of the world's best long-haul economy products, the Economy class aboard Air Mauritius' new airliners has been made even better: New-generation single-beam structure seats allowing for extra personal living space, a fully complimentary AVOD menu offering as rich a content as in the upper classes and a choice of hot main course will no doubt satisfy the ever-growing expectations of the airline's discerning tourist clientele.
