If you have a medical condition, please consult your doctor
on fitness for travel.
Should your medical or physical condition require individual
attention on emplaning, deplaning or during flight you
should indicate this at the time of making your reservation.
We may require medical clearance from our doctor in case of
doubt. Click here for guidance.
If your condition requires that you fill a Medical Certificate of Fitness for Air Travel, click
here for the appropriate form.
If you need to carry medical equipment on board, please
note the following
procedures
Please also note that a non-autonomous passenger can only be accepted if accompanied by an able-bodied person capable of helping him/her with his/her physiological needs during the flight.
Air Mauritius may entertain requests from passengers to store personal medical items on board, at its sole discretion and to the passenger’s own risks and with no liability towards Air Mauritius under any circumstance.

Expectant mothers may travel without any restriction up to
28 weeks of pregnancy, unless otherwise advised by their
doctors. For pregnancies beyond 28 weeks or complicated
pregnancies, a medical certificate signed by a registered
gynaecologist / obstetrician is required.
Passengers are however advised to check relevant country
regulations as some authorities (e.g Government of Malaysia)
refuse admission to foreign ladies in advanced state of
pregnancy, i.e 6 months or more, except if being in transit
for a stay of maximum 72 hrs (extension not allowed).
Infants may travel without a medical clearance after the
first week of delivery.
Two infants travelling with one adult may be accepted for
travel only if the second infant is over 12months and is
able to sit in an approved
car seat.
An infant will not be allowed a carry cot if he/she is
either more than 12 months old or weighs more than 11 kg,
whichever condition is the most constraining will apply.
For applicable fares and baggage allowances, child and infant ages are based on age at date of travel on each sector not age at time of booking.
Hence if for a return ticket, an infant is turning two on the return leg, the applicable fare will be half the return infant fare on one leg plus half the return child fare on the return leg. For the baggage allowance on departure, the infant will be entitled to 10 kg(infant allowance) and 23 kg on return(normal allowance for child of aged 2 and above).
Your pets will be carried as checked baggage subject to the
