Two Airbus A330-900Neo
Launched in July 2014, the A330neo with the A350 XWB completes Airbus’ new generation Widebody Family. These new generation aircraft is versatile and can efficiently serve markets on sectors from as short as 30 minutes, to over 15 hours flying time – making them true long-range capable aircraft. Our two A330-900neo, named ‘Aapravasi Ghat’ and ‘Chagos Archipelago’, as a tribute Mauritius’ historic heritage, embodies the exclusive ‘Airspace by Airbus’ concept where passengers are offered the most modern in-flight products including the quietest cabin in its category for an utmost comfortable flying experience. Business class passenger will also enjoy the full flat seat facilities and economy-class passengers will appreciate the 18-inch-wide seats arrangements in a spacious cabin.

Two Airbus 330-200 (retrofit)
Air Mauritius acquired its first Airbus 330-200, the "Trochetia", in December 2007, and its second, the "Nénuphar", in October 2009. This aircraft type is selected by the world's most reputable airlines for medium flights. The cabins of the two A330-200 have been refurbished and now offer similar cabin products as the airline’s flagship aircraft, the A350-900. It offers full flat seats in Business Class, more space in Economy Class, WIFI connectivity in all classes and a state of the art entertainments system with audio/video on demand.

Two Airbus A350-900
The two A350-900 XWB named ‘Le Morne Brabant’ and ‘Pieter Both’ are among the latest generation of aircraft produced by Airbus. This new generation aircraft brings a new dimension to the experience of air travel from the moment passengers step in the aircraft. It is equipped with Air Mauritius’ latest cabin products including new Economy Class seats in a roomier cabin, full flat Business Class seats, a state of the art entertainment system with full HD screens, inflight connectivity, which, together will offer an unrivalled level of comfort and convenience to passengers.

Three Airbus 340-300C
Air Mauritius was among the first airlines to purchase the A340 aircraft. They are being refurbished this year to offer cabin products similar to the airline’s flagship aircraft, the A350-900. The refurbished A340-300,”Paille-en-Queue” arrived beginning of August this year, and the second one, “Parakeet”, will be refurbished in the coming weeks. The older A340C’s exit is planned end-October this year. The new cabin of the A340-300C offers full flat seats in Business Class, more space in Economy Class and a state of the art entertainments system.

Two Airbus 319-100
The two A319s aircraft named after two Mauritian beaches ‘Mon Choisy’ and ‘Blue Bay’ are configured in two-classes and offer quality service, with standards comparable to those of medium-haul Airbus aircraft: more space for carry-on baggage, a wider aisle, and improved seat pitch for greater individual comfort.

Our short-haul aircraft for inter-island routes

Three ATR 72-500
Air Mauritius has been an ATR operator for over 30 years, having been the launch customer of ATR 42 in the African and Indian Ocean region in 1984. Our three ATR72, namely ‘Port Mathurin’, ‘Ile Aux Aigrettes’, and ‘Les Mascareignes’ are an improved version of the first generation ATR aircraft, with new soundproof cabins, and are considered the most reliable aircraft in their category. It is ideal for operating at airports with short runaways such as Plaine Corail in Rodrigues.
