Flexible Travel Policy on the Mauritius – Antananarivo route

Due to the ongoing social unrest in Madagascar, Air Mauritius has introduced measures to provide greater flexibility to its passengers.

Travellers holding a ticket to/from Antananarivo will have the possibility to change their travel dates, without any rebooking fees, for any request made between 29 September and 06 October 2025.

This exceptional measure applies to all MK/239 tickets issued, subject to seat availability. Any fare difference resulting from a higher booking class, seasonality, or change of routing will remain applicable.

Passengers wishing to cancel their trip may request the issuance of an EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) valid for future travel on Air Mauritius.

Air Mauritius will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide an update after 06 October 2025. The airline reserves the right to amend this policy at any time and without prior notice.
