COVID-19 OUTBREAK
Air Mauritius wishes to inform the travelling public that with the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, the Mauritian Authorities have advised that the following restrictions now apply in the Republic of Mauritius:
“Any foreign national having resided in China, the Republic of Korea and from following provinces of Italy: Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romangna or with a history of travel to and from China, The Republic of Korea and from following provinces of Italy: Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romangna within the last 14 days”, will not be allowed entry or to transit in the Republic of Mauritius.
The directives from the Authorities also specify that Mauritian nationals, residents, their spouse and children coming from or having travelled through the above regions within the last 14 days, will be allowed entry in Mauritius and will be placed in quarantine
Air Mauritius regrets inconveniences caused by these restrictions and wishes to reiterate that the health and safety of its passengers and crew remain its topmost priority.
