The journey is just as important as the destination. That’s why we designed a number of seating options for your personal preferences. Air Mauritius seating includes multiple options in Economy Class. Avoid any disappointment by selecting your seat in advance, for a fee.

Enjoy more legroom in our exit row seats

 

Stretch out your legs and enjoy your flight in our exit rows with extra legroom. Available on all our A350 & A330neo aircraft.

Your own Duo seats

Choose a duo seat for the extra privacy for just the two of you. One window, one aisle seat together on the left and right hand sides of our our A330neo.

 

Preferred seats, for those with no time to waste

 

You just can’t wait to start exploring your destination. Choose a seat from the middle rows in the front first Economy rows for a fast disembarkation.

Standard Seats

If you have no particular preference for Exit, Duo, or Preferred Seat, then choose any other seat on the aircraft. Standard seats are the remaining seats on the aircraft, apart from the ones mentioned above.

Check the layout of our aircraft cabins and see exactly where your preferred seat is located.

You can choose your seat for free when you are:

  • A Kestrelflyer Gold or Silver member

  • A customer booked in classes YKHS

  • A family travelling with infants (INF) or children (CHD) in the same reservation

  • An unaccompanied minor (UMNR)

  • A traveller with reduced mobility in the cabin (WCHC)

  • A traveller who has to fly on a stretcher (STCR)

  • A traveller with visual (BLND) or hearing (DEAF) impairment

You may book your seat in one of the following ways:

  • At the time of purchase of your ticket.
  • After you have bought your ticket, by going to Manage Booking.
  • Through our Call Centre, at any time. 

On flights operated by code share partners, advanced seat reservation will be as per the partner airline’s policy. Please contact them directly to reserve your seat.

This fee will only be applicable to flights operated by Air Mauritius. On flights operated by code share partners, advanced seat reservation facility will be as per the partner’s policy.

Seat reservation is not guaranteed, even if confirmed and paid in advance, and Air Mauritius reserves the right to change the seating for operational, safety or security reasons, even after boarding the aircraft. Kindly read our Conditions of Carriage for more details.

Advanced seat reservation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, except on an involuntary basis where Air Mauritius is unable to re-accommodate the passenger with a similar seat, due to a change of aircraft, for instance.

Air Mauritius reserves the right to terminate or modify or otherwise change these Terms and Conditions at its own discretion and without prior notice. 

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by Mauritian Law and you agree to be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Mauritian Courts.
