Terms and Conditions


Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our inflight connectivity service (“Service”). By using this Service, you indicate your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms and conditions, do not use this Service.

  1. Inflight internet is available when the Wi-Fi network is activated above 10,000 feet, within range of the satellite network and the use of electronic devices is permitted. Even above 10,000 feet, Actual Service coverage, speed and quality may vary and is not guaranteed. Service is subject to unavailability, including emergencies, third party service failures, transmission, equipment or network problems or limitations, interference, signal strength, maintenance and repair, legal and regulatory restrictions and national security issues, and may be interrupted, refused, limited, or curtailed. All policies regarding the use of electronic devices in flight apply.
  2. Connectivity is valid only on the flight it has been purchased.
  3. Internet access charges are non-refundable, and non-transferable.
  4. You agree NOT to use this Service for any illegal or improper purposes.
  5. Air Mauritius makes no guarantees whatsoever that the content accessed through the Service is appropriate or lawful in any countries or that this Agreement complies with the laws of any other country.
  6. You acknowledge that Air Mauritius has no control over and excludes all liability for any content which can be accessed through the Service. Neither can Air Mauritius be deemed to have endorsed the content.
  7. You will use the Service entirely at your own risks. Air Mauritius is not responsible for any harm done to your device(s) if you advertently or inadvertently download any malicious software while using this Service.
  8. You specifically acknowledge and agree that Air Mauritius may, as a necessary incident of providing the Service, or as required or permitted by law, by law enforcement authorities, or as hereby expressly contemplated by this Agreement, use any advanced blocking technologies and other technical, administrative or logical means available to it, to identify, inspect, remove, block, filter, or restrict any uses, materials, information or websites that Air Mauritius considers to be actual or potential violations of the restrictions on use set forth in this Agreement, including, but not limited to, those activities that may subject Air Mauritius or its customers to liability or danger, or material that may be obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, pornographic, harassing, or otherwise objectionable. Because automated filtering mechanisms are not always able to discern content accurately, some non-objectionable content may be unintentionally restricted at times, while some objectionable content may unintentionally evade restriction.
  9. Air Mauritius sets limitations on your use of the service onboard for certain content, applications, and services to ensure the best performance for the most users.  Specifically, the service does not support video downloads, in-flight file transfers, file storage services, application downloads, software updates, software or file “synching,” streaming media (audio or video), downloads of long-form media, gaming and other activities that reflect similar capacity usage or transmission patterns.  As a result, these activities may not be conducted on the service and may be blocked, attempted to be blocked, deprioritized, or otherwise restricted at any time, through the use of a variety of tools and techniques.
  10. You expressly acknowledge that there are certain security, confidentiality, and privacy risks inherent in wireless communications and technology and use of inflight Internet access, and Air Mauritius does not make any assurances or warranties relating to such risks. You acknowledge that Air Mauritius is not responsible for messages or pages lost or misdirected due to interruptions or fluctuations in the Service or the Internet in general.
  11. As part of providing you this Service, Air Mauritius may collect and obtain certain information (including personal information) from and about you. Air Mauritius use of such information will be in accordance with our privacy policy found here: www.airmauritius.com/privacy
  12. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Air Mauritius and its suppliers from and against all claims[whether criminal or civil], demands, liabilities, expenses (including attorney's fees) and damages arising out of claims resulting from your use of the Service, including without limitation any claims based onfacts which if substantiatedwould constitute a breach by You of these terms and conditions.
  13. Without prejudice to any of its other rights (whether at law or otherwise), Air Mauritius reserves the right to deny you access to this service in case we believe (in our absolute discretion) that you are in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
  14. Air Mauritius reserves the right to suspend or vary the whole or any part of the service offered for any reason, at any time without notice to anyone, at our sole discretion without liability to you.
  15. Air Mauritius reserves the right to terminate or modify or otherwise change these Terms and Conditions at its own discretion and without notice. Except as provided for in the preceding sentence, no amendment, modification or waiver to these Terms and Conditions shall be binding on Air Mauritius unless made in writing, signed by an authorized officer of Air Mauritius, and upon posting on the connectivity portal. It is your responsibility to check for amendments before using the Service.
  16. The failure of Air Mauritius to exercise any of its rights shall not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment of the future performance of any of its rights, and your obligations with respect to such future performance shall continue in full force and effect.
  17. Air Mauritius will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses including loss of revenue or loss of profit, or damages of whatsoever kind, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise arising without limitation, out of access to, or the use of Internet or any information contained in it, or the interruption or unavailability of the Service.
  18. These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with Air Mauritius Conditions of Carriage, Legal Notice, and Privacy Notice which apply to the use of the Service, and are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
  19. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the use of this Service, will be governed by the Laws of Mauritius without regards to any conflict of laws principles.You agree to be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Mauritian Courts.
