Farnborough, United Kingdom, 24 July 2024: Air Mauritius has selected Airbus’ Fleet Technical Management (FTM) services to enhance the operational efficiency of its A350 and A330 fleet. The airline has also chosen, for its new direct order A350 aircraft, Airbus’ Design Studio for cabin interior design services and also the latest generation business seats from Stelia Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus Atlantic, for an enhanced passenger experience.
The Airbus FTM services will support Air Mauritius with key Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) activities, including engineering support to the Maintenance Control Center. This will help with health monitoring and solutions for their fleet. Airbus will also support the airline with preventive actions to improve airframe, aircraft systems, components and engine reliability. These factors will support in enhancing the aircraft’s operational performance.
For its additional new direct order of the A350 aircraft, Air Mauritius has chosen Airbus’ Design Studio to develop their cabin interior design in line with the latest trend, including adopting sustainable solutions.
In addition, Air Mauritius has chosen, for its on-order A350 aircraft the Opera Business Class seats from Stelia Aerospace to offer a premium travel experience to its passengers. The Opera widebody business class state-of-the-art seats come with a reverse herringbone configuration and a fully integrated door, which creates personalised spaces for passengers and provide a sense of grandeur.

Air Mauritius’ fleet consists of the Airbus A350-900, A330-900neo, A330-200 and ATR 72-500/600. The airline provides air connectivity to the island from multiple destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Indian Ocean.
