Air Mauritius took flight on June 14, 1967, just a few months before Mauritius gained independence. In the span of five decades, we've evolved into the national airline of Mauritius, playing a pivotal role in the island's growth and development. We've not only connected the world to Mauritius but also boosted the island's economy through direct links to Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Indian Ocean. We currently fly directly to 13 destinations.
We operate according to the most rigorous safety standards, and we follow the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). We are certified by the Mauritian Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), enabling us to maintain aircraft registered in Europe.
