Air Mauritius Offers Bangkok and Colombo as a Combo from India
 

• Offer Extended to Passengers from Reunion Island

Two destinations for the price of one: that’s what Air Mauritius is offering from the three Indian airports it serves weekly. With this stopover formula in both directions, the Mauritian national carrier is innovating by leveraging its network of airline partners beyond traditional point-to-point routes.

Air Mauritius passengers can benefit from a single fare, starting at Rs 44,000 (all taxes included), to travel to Thailand or Sri Lanka from Mumbai, Delhi, or Chennai. Travelers heading to Thailand will fly with Thai Airways, which operates daily flights to Bangkok from all three airports. SriLankan Airlines also offers daily flights from these airports to Colombo.

Considering the strong ties between the Reunionese diaspora and Tamil Nadu due to ancestral roots, Air Mauritius has decided to extend this special fare to passengers departing from Reunion Island. For example, they can travel Reunion–Mauritius–Chennai–Colombo without incurring additional costs. And since Thailand is also a popular destination among our Reunionese neighbours, Air Mauritius is inviting them to take advantage of its Bangkok combo offer from Mumbai, Delhi, or Chennai.

The appeal of these two destinations lies mainly in their affordable shopping and vacation opportunities. Moreover, the vibrant nightlife in both cities adds to their global reputation and popularity.

Flight schedule from Mauritius to Indian destinations:

• Mumbai: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Return to Mauritius: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Monday)
• Delhi: Wednesday and Saturday (Return to Mauritius: Thursday and Sunday).
• Chennai: Monday (Return to Mauritius: Monday).
