Passenger Medical Emergency during boarding of flight MK 238

Air Mauritius regrets to confirm that an elderly passenger travelling on flight MK 238 from Mauritius to Reunion suffered a medical emergency during boarding of the aircraft today.

The operating crew immediately administered first aid and provided all possible assistance until the airport doctor boarded the aircraft to attend to the passenger.
Following a medical assessment, the passenger was disembarked and transferred to the Airport Medical Post for further treatment. Sadly, despite all efforts, the passenger passed away.

Air Mauritius extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, particularly the relative who was travelling with him, during this difficult time.
