Flight MK017 diverts to Rome due to a medical emergency      

Flight MK017, operating from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Mauritius on Monday, 24 August 2026, was diverted to Rome following a medical emergency involving an operating Cabin Crew member.

Upon arrival at Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Rome, the Cabin Crew member was disembarked and received immediate medical attention from the relevant local authorities.

Following the completion of all required operational and regulatory formalities, the aircraft departed Rome at 04h27 (Mauritian time) and is expected to arrive at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport at 14h30 (Mauritian time) today, Tuesday, 25 August 2026.
