Technical issue - Flight MK 124

Air Mauritius flight MK 124, which departed for Rodrigues today, 03 August 2026, encountered a technical issue that required the aircraft to return to Mauritius.

After following flight procedures, the aircraft landed safely in Mauritius at 13h06, local time.

Upon arrival, Air Mauritius extended assistance to the affected passengers, who have been rescheduled on a flight departing at 17h00 local time today.

The remaining planned operations to and from Rodrigues today are also affected as a consequence. Passengers have already been informed by our Call Centre of the revised timings for their rescheduled flights.

Air Mauritius apologises for the inconveniences caused and reiterates that the safety and security of its passengers and team members remain its topmost priority.
