Air Mauritius Office in Antananarivo Looted

The Air Mauritius office in Antananarivo was targeted during acts of vandalism amid the demonstrations that took place yesterday, Thursday, 25 September 2025, in the Malagasy capital. Peripheral devices and other IT equipment were stolen, and a fire broke out on the ground floor. The fire was successfully contained. Air Mauritius employees are safe and were able to leave the premises before the incidents occurred.

The office is temporarily out of service. Air Mauritius plans to dispatch a technical team on-site as soon as the situation allows in order to restore the IT system as quickly as possible.

Air Mauritius is closely monitoring the situation and will keep passengers informed of any changes to its flight schedule.
