COVID-19 Outbreak Travel Restrictions - Applicable 28 February 2020
COVID-19 OUTBREAK
Air Mauritius wishes to inform the travelling public that travel restrictions have been extended by Mauritian authorities as follows:
“Any foreign national having resided in China, Republic of Korea, Italy and the Islamic Republic of Iran or with a history of travel to and from China, Republic of Korea, Italy and the Islamic Republic of Iran within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry or transit in the Republic of Mauritius.”
The directives from the Authorities also specify that Mauritian nationals, residents, their spouse and children coming from or having travelled through the above regions within the last 14 days, will be allowed entry in Mauritius and will be placed in quarantine.
Air Mauritius regrets inconveniences caused by these restrictions and wishes to reiterate that the health and safety of its passengers and crew remain its topmost priority.
